Avoid touching the contact surface points of

Before starting a journey/tour:

To insert: turn the key in the ignition lock
to drive position.

incorrectly, a warning tone sounds.
After the end of the journey/trip:

Data from the digital tachograph is stored on
the tachograph driver card. You can transmit
this data to the FleetBoard
®
with FleetBoard TiiRec. Once the data has
been transmitted, the central fleet office can
download the data from the FleetBoard
Service Centre via the Internet. The data must
be made available to the authorities if reques-
ted.
The tachograph driver card can be used, in
the same way as the FleetBoard
for unambiguous identification of the driver.

the memory chip with your fingers. Errors can
otherwise occur when reading out the mem-
ory chip.
Reading out and sending data from the
tachograph driver card
X
Turn the key to the drive position in the
ignition lock.
X
Insert the driver card into the card slot of
®
FleetBoard TiiRec until it engages.
The memory chip and the arrow on the
tachograph driver card must be facing
upwards. If the tachograph driver card is
inserted incorrectly, a warning tone
sounds.
X
Press the U button (read out driver
card) on FleetBoard
seconds.
It will take about a minute for the tacho-
graph driver card to be read out.
The LED indicator lamp on Fleet-
®
Board TiiRec flashes yellow during this
process.
Once the card has been read out, a confir-
mation tone sounds and the LED indicator
lamp lights up green again.

Press the tachograph driver card and
release it.
X
Remove the tachograph driver card from
the card slot.
®
FleetBoard TiiRec automatically transmits
the data it has read out to the FleetBoard
®
Service Centre
®
®
DriverCard,
®
TiiRec for at least 2
