Use

CAUTION!
■ Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. Only use it if the
device, mains cable and mains plug have no signs of damage!
■ Beware of burns! The protective grille and all metal parts on the front of the device
are hot during operation and for some time afterwards. During operation, only touch
the device by the carrying handle and the switches.
■ Warning of fi re! Keep combustible materials away from the device. Furnishings such
as upholstered furniture or curtains should be a minimum of 1 m away from the heat-
ing surface of the device. A minimum gap of 0.5 m should be maintained at the back
of the device.
■ Warning of fi re and damage to property! Do not operate the device unattended so
that you can intervene immediately in the event of any faults.
The safety switch (6) on the bottom of the base (5) ensures that the device is
switched off automatically if it is not in contact with the ground.
