Danger of Electric Shock from Water!
Use and store the device only in closed rooms.
Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
Never touch the device with wet hands when it is connected to the mains.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids, and make sure it cannot become
damp! Protect the device from moisture, dripping or splashing water.
Warning of Electric Shock from Damage and Inappropriate Use!
Only connect the device to a socket with safety contacts that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the device. The socket must also be readily accessible
after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
Do not use the device with an extension cable.
Warning of Fire!
Do not cover the device during operation. Do not hang any laundry or similar items
over the device to dry.
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable, poisonous or explosive
substances.
Do not use the device in the vicinity of highly fl ammable materials (curtains, textiles,
etc.). Do not place any combustible materials (e.g. cardboard, paper or plastic) on
the device.
Do not insert any objects into the openings of the device.
Do not place the device on a deep-pile carpet when it is heating.
In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the fl ames with a fi reproof
blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.
Do not connect the device along with other consumers (with a high wattage) to a mul-
tiple socket in order to prevent overloading and a possible short circuit (fi re).
Risk of Damage to Material and Property!
Always place the device on a dry, even and fi rm surface.
Protect the device from naked fl ames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture,
wet conditions and impact.
Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.
Do not lay or place any heavy objects on the device.
If any liquids or foreign bodies do get into the device, remove the mains plug imme-
diately and have the device checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.
Remove the mains plug from the socket if a fault occurs during operation or before
a thunderstorm.
Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cable. Do not pull on the cable but rather
on the mains plug when it is removed from the plug socket.
