Addressing

The device has three different DMX channel modes. The Control Board allows you, as described above, to
assign the DMX channel mode.
The Control Board allows you to assign the DMX starting address, which is defined as the first channel from
which the AKKU LP-20 Gobo Projector will respond to the controller.
If you set, for example, the address in the 4 channel mode to channel 5, the AKKU LP-20 Gobo Projector will
use the channel 5 to 8 for control.
Please, be sure that you don't have any overlapping channels in order to control each AKKU LP-20 Gobo
Projector correctly and independently from any other fixture on the DMX-chain.
If several AKKU LP-20 Gobo Projectors are addressed similarly, they will work synchronically.
For setting the desired starting address please press the MENU button. Press the UP and DOWN button
until the display shows Addr. Press the ENTER button and the display shows: d001. Set the desired
address via the UP or DOWN button. Please press the ENTER button again to confirm.
Now you can start operating the AKKU LP-20 Gobo Projector via your lighting controller.
Note:
The modes of DMX512 data are shown via the display of the device:
After switching on, the device will automatically detect whether DMX 512 data is received or not. If the data
is received, the display will show "d.001" with the actually set address. If there is no data received at the
DMX input, the display will show "d001" with the actually set address.
This situation can occur if:
- the XLR plug (cable with DMX signal from controller) is not connected with the input of the device.
- the wireless receiver is not logged in to the wireless transmitter or no wireless DMX signal is received.
- the controller is switched off or defective.
- the cable or connector is defective or the signal wires are swap in the input connector.
