8.3 EDID Management - EDID management
Probleme mit der EDID-Kommunikation zwischen Signalquelle und Monitor / Projektor zeigen sich oft, wenn
auf dem Display kein Bild zu sehen ist, das Bild Störungen zeigt, unscharf ist oder den Bildschirm nicht ausfüllt.
Meistens können diese am häufigsten vor Ort auftretenden Probleme durch das EDID Management behoben
werden.
Problems with the EDID communication between the signal source and the monitor / projector often show
up when no picture is shown on the display, the picture shows interference, is out of focus or does not fill the
screen.
Usually these most common on-site issues can be solved with a correct EDID management.
Mit der EDID-Information wird die Auflösung der Grafik-Karte des Signalgebers (z. B. Laptop) automatisch an
die Auflösung des Wiedergabe-Gerätes (z. B. Projektor) angepasst.
With the EDID information, the resolution of the graphics card of the signal generator (e. g. laptop) is automati-
cally adapted to the resolution of the playback device (e. g. projector).
Die EDID-Information von einem, am aktiven Ausgang angeschlossenen Endgerät (Display oder Projektor) kann
manuell über das Touch-Bedienfeld oder über die GUI des Web-Browsers kopiert werden. Somit stehen die
individuellen EDID-Daten an einem Eingang zur Verfügung und fordern von den Grafik-Karten der Signalquellen
exakt diese Einstellungen an.
The EDID information can be read from a terminal connected to the active output (display or projector).
This EDID can be copied via the touch panel or via the GUI of the Web browser to the required input. So the
individual EDID data is available at the input and request exactly the same settings from the graphic cards of the
signal sources.
Im Hauptmenü <EDID Management> auswählen. Gewünschten Ausgang selektieren und auf den gewünschten
Eingang tippen. Damit wird die EDID-Information vom aktiven Ausgang gelesen und im gewählten Eingang
hinterlegt. Im Display wird die Information am Eingang ebenfalls angezeigt.
At the main menu, select the EDID Management icon. Choose the Output you want to copy the EDID from and
select
the input you want to write this EDID to. Now this input will present that EDID to connected source. On the
Screen this Information is shown at the Input symbol.
Die EDID-Tabellen sind über den Touch Screen und den Web-Browser speicherbar.
The EDID tables are storable in the unit via touch screen and Web-Browser.
