3.3 Settings
3.3.1 Disabling the sleep mode
For recording or operating over longer periods of time you can di-
sable the sleep mode by pressing the POWER key. When the meter
is off, press and hold the POWER key and the REL/HOLD key at the
same time to disable the sleep mode. When an "n" appears in the
center of the screen, you can release the power button. The disable
sleep mode will be invalid after power off.
3.3.2 Selecting the thermocouple
Press the REC key and the POWER key for more than 2 seconds to
enter the mode of the thermocouple selection. Press the C/F key to
select between K, J and T thermocouples types. Confirm with EN-
TER.

4. Connection of the sensor to the device

Attention: When connecting the sensor zo the device, please pay
attention to the polarity indicated on the device. Never use force to
insert the plug.
