Default values and other regulator parameters (PID constants, address, baud rate...) can be set in the
configuration program ModComTool via converter RS232/RS485 or USB/RS485.
Suitable cable types are LAM DATAPAR 2x0.8 (diameter mm ), JYTY 2x1 (diameter mm) etc. If the
communication will lead through the same cable, use four conductor cables LAM DATAPAR 2x2x0.8,
JYTY 4x1. At distances of dozens of meters, the concurrence of the power supply 24V and the bus is
not a problem. In terms of electromagnetic endurance it is better if the conductors are twisted in pairs (as
in the cable LAM DATAPAR).
The regulator terminals can fit a maximum of 3 conductors with cross-section of 0.8 mm . When using
the types of cables listed above, the maximum (start-up) power of the "regulator + valve" approx. 7 VA,
and permissible voltage drop up to 15%, the maximum cable length with 10 regulators containing one
valve each is 50 m.
The device contains a non-rechargeable battery that supplies power to the system clock and backs up
part of the memory. After the end of the device life, return it to the manufacturer or dispose of it in
accordance with local regulations.
