Proper use

The analysis module determines the refrigerant analysis for vehicle air
conditioning systems with R-1234yf refrigerant. The device is designed
for commercial use.
The analysis module may only be operated by personnel who have the
expertise required for servicing air conditioning systems.

Technical description

The analysis module determines the degree of purity of R-1234yf. It is
suitable for displaying the percentages of the following refrigerants:
 R-1234yf
 R-134a
 R-22
 HC (hydrocarbons, e.g. isobutane or propane)
The analysis module creates an overview of the percentage shares of the
individual gases. A possible percentage of air is calculated (e.g. 100 %
pure R-1234yf refrigerant + 10 % air). This overview is output by the
AirConServiceCenter printer.
The percentage of refrigerant should be at least 95 % to ensure that it is
pure. Due to technical reasons, the analysis module cannot display a
degree of purity below 75%. If, for example, pure R-134a is contained in
the air conditioner, the analysis module displays:
 R-1234yf: 75%
 R-134a: 25%
Refrigerant with a degree of purity below 95 % is not accepted by the
ASC5300G AirConServiceCenter. This refrigerant must be disposed of.
