Temperature-dependent overload
protection
To protect the motor from overheating at extreme
permanent load, it is switched off by the protective
electronic system when a critical temperature is
reached.
After a cooling-down period of approx. 3 - 5 min.,
the machine is again ready for use and can be fully
loaded.
When the machine is warmed by use, the tempera-
ture-dependent overload protection reacts earlier as
a result.
Assembly of the stirrers
The unit is equipped with a quick-change system
for assembly of the stirrers.
Prior to the initial operation of the unit, the
tool holders (6) should be lightly lubricated
with multi-purpose grease (standard acces-
sory).
The stirrers are marked with color to tell them apart
better.
The left tool holder and the corresponding left stir-
rer are marked with an orange-colored ring.
Assembly:
Attach the correct stirrer (7) to the matching side of
the respective tool holder (6).
For this, align the orange-colored dot on the safety
collar of the stirrer with the engaged safety pin (3).
Afterwards the stirrer is pushed on and automati-
cally locked by the safety pin.
Disassembly :
By pressing firmly against the orange-colored dot
on the safety collar the locking system is released
and the stirrer (7) can be pulled off.

Operational Tips
Do not mix explosive substances (e. g. easily
inflammable solvents) and materials with a com-
bustion point below 21 °C. Observe the process-
ing instructions of the manufacturer.
The choice of stirrer (7) depends on the nature of
the substance to be stirred. For substances with low
viscosity, such as for example, dispersion paint,
varnish, cement, sealing compound or cement
grout, use a stirror with a left twist. For substances
with high viscosity, such as for example, ready-
mixed plaster, concrete, cement, screed, putty and
epoxy resin, use a stirrer with a right twist.
Move the machine up and down while stirring.
Clean the stirrer after use.
Storage
The unit should be stored in a dry place where it is
protected against freezing.
Environmental Protection
Do not open worn out machines and return to the
collection facilities provided for recycling.

Maintenance

Periodically clean the venting slots on the motor
housing.
When the carbon brushes are worn out, the
machine switches itself off. The machine must
then be sent to customer service for maintenance
(see enclosed sheet).
After approx. 200 hours of operation, renew the
grease filling in the gearbox.
To verify that the double insulation is intact,
the machine must be subjected to a safety test
afterwards. Therefore, these maintenance
tasks are to be performed only by a profes-
sional electro-workshop.
Service
See enclosed sheet.
