•
Cut the CO2 hose close to the pressure regulator.
•
Attach the cut hose ends to the hose screw fittings (3, 4) of the solenoid valve. Note the direction of flow (arrow on the
valve case (1).
•
Connect the power supply unit of the solenoid valve to a power socket controlled by a time switch (not included in set),
e.g. for the aquarium lighting. Connect the 12 V cable of the power supply to the cable of the solenoid valve.
Direct connection to a pressure regulator (e. g. JBL ProFlora u001, m001)
•
Completely disconnect the hose connection on the input side (3).
•
Also disconnect the hose connection on the pressure regulator.
•
Slightly loosen the locking nut of the valve core (6), so that the valve core can be freely turned on the fixed hexagonal
nut (5) in the valve casing.
•
Insert the enclosed plastic washer (11) on the bottom of the internal thread (1/8") of the pressure regulator (13).
•
Holding the valve by the valve casing (1), turn the valve core with its external thread (10) into the internal thread of the
pressure regulator. In doing so, turn the valve core by its fixed hexagonal nut (5).
•
Position the valve casing as required and hold firmly in place. Now tighten the valve core by tightening the hexagonal
nut (5) with a suitable spanner.
•
Secure the valve casing in the position selected by tightening the locking nut (6)
•
Connect the CO2 hose of your CO2 system with the hose connection of the outlet (4).
•
Connect the power supply unit of the solenoid valve to a power socket controlled by a time switch (not included in set),
e.g. for the aquarium lighting. Connect the 12 V cable of the power supply to the cable of the solenoid valve.
