Connection to a CO hose (4 / 6 mm)

• Cut the CO hose close to the pressure regulator.

• Attach the cut hose ends to the hose screw fittings (3, 4) of the solenoid valve. Note the direction of flow (arrow on
the valve case (1).
• Connect the power supply unit of the solenoid valve to a power socket controlled by a time switch (not included in
set), e.g. for the aquarium lighting. Connect the 12 V cable of the power supply to the cable of the solenoid valve.
Direct connection to a pressure regulator (e. g. JBL ProFlora u001, m001)
• Completely disconnect the hose connection on the input side of the solenoid valve (3).
• Also disconnect the hose connection on the pressure regulator.
• Holding the valve by the valve casing (1), turn the valve core with its external thread (10) into the internal thread of
the pressure regulator. In doing so, turn the valve core by its fixed hexagonal nut (5).
• The integrated O-ring (6) at the valve core automatically seals between the valve and the pressure regulator.
• Position the valve as required
• Connect the CO hose of your CO
2
• Connect the power supply unit of the solenoid valve to a power socket controlled by a time switch (not included in
set), e.g. for the aquarium lighting. Connect the 12 V cable of the power supply to the cable of the solenoid valve.
