SAFETY CONCERNING THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM
Caution! Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning activity, stop the hedge
trimmer and disconnect the plug from the outlet socket. This also applies when the
electrical cable is damaged, cut or entangled.
Once the power to the hedge trimmer has been removed, the blades continue to
move for a few seconds. Caution! Do not touch the moving blades.
For safety reasons, the machine is equipped with double insulation and does not
require an earth connection. The operating voltage is 230-240V alternating
current, 50 Hz. Use only an approved electrical extension. For more information,
contact the after-sales service.
Always check the hedge for foreign objects, e.g. wire fences before cutting with
the hedge trimmer
For increased safety, it is recommended to use a differential circuit breaker
with a maximum fault current of 30 mA. Before each use of the machine, check
this differential circuit breaker.
Never use the hedge trimmer when it is raining. Never allow the hedge trimmer
to be exposed to moisture. Do not leave the hedge trimmer outside overnight. Do
not cut hedges when they are wet.
Caution! The extension connector must be protected against the
ingress of water, must be made of rubber or be covered with rubber.
The extension must be used with a cable clamp. Check the power cable
regularly in order to detect any damage. It should not be used unless it
is in good condition.

INTENDED USE

Cutting and trimming of hedges, bushes and ornamental shrubs in the domestic
sector only. All other uses are expressly excluded.
Tools for private and hobby gardens are not suitable for use in public facilities, parks
and sport centers, along roadways, on farms or in the forestry sector.
Noise/Vibration Information
Measured sound values determined according to EN 60745.
Vibration total values (triax vector sum) determined according to EN 60745.
:
The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in
accordance with a standardised test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare
one tool with another.
It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool.
However if the tool is used for different applications, with different accessories or
poorly maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may significantly increase
the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the
times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the
job. This may significantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of
vibration such as: maintain the tool and the accessories, keep the hands warm,
organisation of work patterns.
