Chicco's Magic Lantern is designed to enhance your nursery with lights and sound.
It comes with 5 light display effects combined with a number of different melodies
and soothing sounds of nature to comfort and cuddle your child in a calm, peacefully
relaxing atmosphere.
The lantern's unique, soft shape enables it to rock to and fro gently, whilst its practical
carry-handle makes it easy for your child to carry it around at all times.

Warnings:
• Keep all the item's packing materials out of children's reach.
• Warning!!! Before use, unscrew the battery compartment cover with a Philips head
screwdriver and remove the fixing tie placed inside.
• Before use, also remove the transparent plastic film wrapping the lantern.
• This lamp is intended solely for the use it has been designed for (soothing/night light).
Any other uses will be considered as improper and therefore hazardous.
• ARTSANA cannot be held liable for any damages whatsoever arising from improper,
wrong or unreasonable uses of this item. This item is not a toy.
Instructions For Use:
Fitting and/or replacing the batteries (fig. 1)
The lamp works with 3 type AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
To fit in and/or replace the batteries, open the battery housing (3) cover plate on the
rear by unscrewing the two screws located on the underside of the lamp (4) using a
cross-head screwdriver. Fit in the 3 type AAA alkaline batteries checking to make sure
they have been fitted into their correct connection/polarity positions. Fit the cover plate
back on by screwing back in the 2 screws very tightly.
Warnings:
• Prevent this product from falling/being thrown to the floor and/or used as a play rattle
as it could be subject to irreparable damage.
• When not in use, always ensure that the device has been switched OFF completely by
rotating the appropriate selector (1) anticlockwise to its limit.
• Batteries must only be fitted or replaced by an adult. Always ensure batteries and tools
are kept well out of children's reach.
• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for
correct device operations.
• Never mix new and old batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Do not short circuit the battery feed terminals.
• Always remove spent batteries from the device to avoid possible device failures due to
battery leakage as well as hazards to other objects placed close up to the device.
• In the event of liquid leakage from the batteries, replace them immediately taking care
to thoroughly and carefully clean out the battery housing and clamps. Wash your hands
thoroughly in case of direct contact with liquid leakage.
• Always remove the batteries in the event of long-term disuse/storage of the device.
