SAFETY TIPS

When using electrical appliances, certain basic safety precautions must be followed, including the following:
- Read all of the instructions before operating the appliance.
- Make sure that your mains voltage matches the rated voltage for the appliance.
- To protect against electric shocks, do not immerse the power cord, plug or the appliance itself in water or any other fluid.
- Keep a close watch if the appliance is being used by or near children.
- Unplug the appliance when it is not in use and before cleaning. Do not disassemble if it is not necessary.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorised technical service centre or
by a qualified technician in order to avoid hazards.
- Do not use any attachment not supplied by the appliance's manufacturer.
- For domestic use only.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas burner or electric cooker plate or in a hot oven.
- Always plug the power cord first into the appliance and then plug into the wall socket. To disconnect the appliance,
turn the selector switch to "0" and then pull out the plug from the wall socket.
- Do not insert metal utensils or food that is too large in the appliance as this could cause a fire or an electric shock
hazard.
- Do not place the appliance near or touching inflammable materials such as curtains, upholstery, or walls, when it is
operating.
- Do not clean the appliance with scouring pads. Parts of the pad may come off and touch the electrical parts, giving
rise to an electric shock hazard.
- When the appliance is not in use, do not store any material in this appliance except the attachments recommended
by the manufacturer.
- Do not place any of the following materials inside the appliance: paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.
- This product must not be used by children or by other people without assistance or supervision if their physical,
sensory or mental condition limits safe use of the appliance. Children must be watched to make sure that they do not
play with the appliance.

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY!
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- All of the blender's parts must be cleaned thoroughly before using for the first time (see Cleaning).
- Pull out the required length of power cord from the blender base and connect the device to the mains.
ASSEMBLING THE GLASS JUG
- Place the rubber seal ring (4) along the inside edge of the blade unit (5).
- Insert the blade assembly in the container base (6) and the glass jug on top of the blade assembly. Turn the jug
clockwise until the blades are firmly screwed to the jug.
- Place the measuring cap (1) on the lid (2).
- Place the lid on the glass jug and press downwards.
INSERTING THE GLASS JUG
- Make sure that the blender is turned off (switch at the "0" setting).
- Place the jug unit on the motor base (7) and press downwards.
CAUTION: MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED JUG CAPACITY: 1.25 L

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

- Place the food you wish to blend in the glass jug.
- Place the lid on the glass jug and close tightly. Place the measuring cap in the hole on the lid and turn clockwise to
fasten.
