INsTAllATION

the kit contains two types of sliding supports, one adhesive
(fixed) and the other a clamp clip (removable). Install the one
most suitable for use on your type of helmet.

NOTEs ON POsITION

Although it can be installed on either side of the helmet, IN-
TERPHONE F2 is designed to be fixed on the left hand side:
this allows the driver to control the device with his left hand,
keeping the right hand on the accelerator.
MOuNTINg THE slIdINg suPPORT WITH dETAcHABlE clIP
take the support and identify the most suitable position
for fixing it to the side of the helmet, insert the rear part of
the clip inside the helmet and then fix to other part on the
outside.
Insert the screws and tighten them a little, check the position
and, if necessary, slide the support into the best position,
then tighten the screws with the screwdriver supplied.
N.B: the support also features an integrated adaptor to compensate for
any differences in helmet thickness.
Install the adaptor between the two parts that make up the sli-
ding support using the two longer screws supplied with the kit.

MOuNTINg THE AdHEsIvE slIdE BOOM

Take the adhesive support and find the best side or place to po-
sition it. Clean the part of the helmet to which the support will
be attached and remove any grease (do not use cleaners that
may damage the helmet). Remove the protective strip from
the double-sided tape and apply the support to the helmet.
once the support has been attached to the helmet it will not
be possible to move it, so please take
care when choosing its position.

FIXINg THE MOdulE

having installed the support on the helmet, take the Blueto-
oth® module and slide it downwards into the guide.
Check that the Bluetooth® module is correctly locked into
position by trying to pull it out upwards.

the module must always be inserted downwards whether
the kit is positioned on the left or the right side of the hel-
met; the speaker and microphone connector must always be
positioned beneath the Bluetooth® module.

INsTAllINg THE sPEAKER WITH MIcROPHONE

Apply the piece of Velcro to the inside of the helmet using
the double-sided adhesive at ear height
N.B: before fitting the Velcro, it is advisable to carry out a preliminary
test by wearing the helmet to check the most suitable position.
stick the speaker with microphone to the velcro you have
just placed in the helmet.
Connect the speaker with microphone connector into the
socket on the Bluetooth® module (the connector can only be
inserted in one position).
Stick any excess cable underneath the padding inside the
helmet.

INsTAllINg THE 3.5 MM sTEREO cABlE

Insert the 2.5mm jack in the socket on the f2 connector and
then insert the 3.5mm jack connector in the audio player.
REMOvINg THE BluETOOTH® MOdulE FROM THE HElMET
Before removing the INterPhoNe f2 from the helmet remo-
ve the connector fitted in the module.
to remove the Bluetooth® module, press the locking lever
against the helmet and, pressing it down, slide the Blueto-
oth® module upwards.

ON FIRsT usE

charging
the INTERPHONE F2 must be charged before use.
Connect the battery charger to the 110-220V socket and the
charge plug to the INTERPHONE F2 charging socket.
the LeD indicator turns red when charging.
When the INTERPHONE F2 is fully charged the LeD will turn
green.

TuRNINg ON/OFF

To turn on: press and hold the MFB button for approx. 3
seconds. the loudspeaker will emit a tone and the LeD will
begin to flash approx. every 3 seconds.
Then, in stand-by mode, the LED will flash approx. every 5
