USE

System requirements

This EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE KIT is compatible with the operating systems MS Windows 7 / 8 /
8.1 / 10 and Mac OS 10.x*. A free USB interface is required to operate it.

Macintosh and MAC are registered trademarks of Apple Computer. All brands and third party
names are the property of the respective user.
Notes:
A USB 3.0 interface card is necessary for the USB 3.0 operation The hard drive is downward
compatible to previous USB standards. The hardware configuration of your PC and the used
operating system can influence the compatibility of the hard drive.
Power supply under USB 2.0: In the case that your USB 3.0 hard drive is not recognised on a
computer with a USB 2.0 port, the power supply could be a possible cause. Please connect a USB
hub with external power supply in this case.

Open the housing. Slide the cover of the underside to the side.
Insert the hard drive into the housing. To do this, angle the hard
drive slightly and connect the interfaces with each other. Then bring
the hard drive into a horizontal position.
Close the housing. Slide the cover of the underside from the side in
the direction of the housing.
Now connect the EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE KIT with your computer
and set up the new drive (observe the instructions under
"Connecting the device").
