SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Electrical installation should be performed by
a qualified licensed electrician. The installa-
tion requirements of VDE 0100 must be ob-
served.
·
This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
·
Children shall not play with the appliance.
·
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
carried out by children without supervision.
·
Make sure that the fixed installation has a
contact separation in all poles that provide
full disconnection under over voltage catego-
ry III conditions.
·
WARNING! Do not use a dimmer type switch
to control the fan speed.
·
WARNING! Before working on the fan, make
sure the fan is disconnected from the mains
supply in all poles.
FOR USE OF BATTERIES

CAUTION! Danger of explosion if batteries
are incorrectly replaced. Replace only with
the same or equivalent type. Observe correct
polarity.

Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed)
shall not be exposed to excessive heat such
as sunshine, fire or the like. Protect from me-
chanical shock. Keep dry and clean. Keep
away from children.
·
Do not open, dismantle, shred or short-circuit
batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
·
Dispose of properly. Pay attention to environ-
mental aspects of battery disposal. Do not
dispose of in household waste.
·
Refer to safety and other instructions on the
battery or its packaging.
·
In case of battery leakage, remove the bat-
teries and clean the battery compartment
thoroughly. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

INTENDED USE

The appliance is intended to work as retrofit
remote control for the HORNBACH ceiling fans
listed in technical data. The appliance is not in-
tended for commercial use.
Any other use or modification to the appliance
is considered as improper use and could cause
considerable dangers.
