• Always remove the grille completely when turning the meat. To avoid
flowing out of cooked juices, use tongs rather than sharp objects.

Simmering

• Allow the meat to simmer at low temperature. To do this, lay it on the
grille on a lower slot.

Cleaning the Gas Barbecue

WARNING: HOT SURFACES
Before cleaning, wait until the gas barbecue has cooled down sufficiently.
WARNING: RISK OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION
• Before cleaning the gas barbecue, remove the gas cylinder. Use the
cap to seal the gas port on the appliance.
• Do not use any flammable detergents.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.
• Clean the barbecue after each use!
NOTE:
If the gas barbecue is left to burn on maximum heat for approximately
15 minutes without grilled food, any accumulations/deposits of fat will be
almost completely burned away.

Exterior Surfaces

• Use mild detergents, caustic soda and hot water.
• Mild abrasive agents can be used for stubborn stains.
• Following this, rinse thoroughly with water.

• The core temperature of the food will indicate when it is done. We rec-
ommend the use of a roasting thermometer. The core temperature of
the meat can be monitored with it.
• At last we recommend placing the meat to rest in the warming tray on
the top of the appliance so that the meat juices can settle.

Au Gratin, Pizza, Vegetables

For these, use only the lower slots on the gas barbecue.

Troubleshooting

Inner Surfaces and Insertion Rack

The insertion rack for the grilles may be removed for cleaning.
1. Clean the surface thoroughly with highly concentrated, hot soap suds.
2. Wipe off with water and leave the surface to dry.
3. Clean the insertion rack in a hot rinsing bath using a mild soapy water
solution. For stubborn stains, you can also use a nylon brush.
4. Place the insertion rack back in the appliance once dry.

Barbecue Grille

• Use mild soap suds.
• Mild abrasive agents can be used for stubborn stains.
• Following this, rinse thoroughly with water.

Servicing

Your gas barbecue should be serviced annually by a technician.
