in the diagram. If the child seat is too high or too low, loosen the
screws (8) on the fastening block and adjust the height. Use the
barycentre reference point (21) printed on the child seat to achieve
the correct horizontal position. To adjust the horizontal position
of the seat, position the support arm (4) in one of the three slots
under the child seat base (ill. 2). When the seat is correctly in place,
tighten the screws (8) slowly and evenly until the fastening block
stops rotating around the frame. The optimum torque wrench set-
ting is 8 Nm.
Illustration 8:
Insert the foot straps (17) into both of the footrests passing them
through the widest part of the external slot (a) to the internal slot (b).
Illustration 9:
Fastening the footrest. Fasten the footrests (15) by inserting them
in a position higher than its shaped seat, passing the widest part of
the foot strap through the slit on the leg of the child seat (ill. 9A).
Position the right footrest, into the slot on the right of the seat and
vice versa. For each footrest, insert the adjusting pin (16) from the
outside of the seat towards the inside, making sure the right pin
coincides with the right side and vice versa.
Illustration 10:
Extracting the footrest. To extract the footrests, turn the regu-
lating pin (16) upwards, move the footrest (15) upwards as far as
possible, open the foot strap and pull the adjusting pin outwards to
free the support.
Use of the seat:
Illustrations 11-12:
Adjusting the footrests: Unhook the strap on the outer side (B) of
the adjusting pin. To adjust the height of the footrest (15), rotate
the adjusting pin (16) upwards; once you have found the desired
position, turn the pin downwards to fix the footrest in place. Re-
place the foot strap.
Illustrations 12-13:
Fastening and unfastening the child's feet: To hold the child's
feet in position, fix the foot strap on the inside of the adjusting pin
(ill. 13, A) and then fasten it to the outside (ill. 13,B). To release the
foot strap follow the procedure in reverse. Always make sure your
child's feet are well fastened to the footrests. The foot rest is long
for easy adjustment.
DANGER: always hook the foot straps onto both sides of the fasten-
ing pins to prevent them from coming into contact with the wheel
spokes.

Fastening the child's safety belt: Adjust the height and length of
the belts according to the size of the child. Setting belt height: the
belt can be extracted to adjust its height by inserting the buckle
behind the backrest through the opening each time (fig.15). Choose
the upper or lower openings to fix the belts based on the child's
height. Setting belt length: modify belt length by sliding the buck-
les. The belts must be fastened firmly without them being too tight
for the child.
Fastening the belts:
Fasten the belt clasp. Check that the belt clasp clicks shut properly,
and then pull the belt.
