External colour camera in a weather-
proof housing (IP 66), wall arm
with ball head and internal wiring.
Integrated day/night switching,
suitable for mounting indoors or
outdoors. Manually adjustable
zoom and focus range. Housing
with integral sun shade. The wall
arm with ball head and fastening
material are provided with the
camera. The terminals of the 1.5 m
long connecting cable are marked.
Transmission of the video signal via
coaxial cable 75 Ohm.

Mounting, installation and
servicing work on electrical
devices may only be performed
by a suitably qualified electrician.
• Never operate the camera outside
the specified limiting temperature,
humidity or voltage values.
• When laying the connecting cable,
ensure that it is not subjected to
load, kinked or damaged.
Mounting instructions
The following installation situations
must be avoided without fail:
• Direct ajour light
• Direct sunlight
• Very bright picture background
• Highly reflective walls opposite the
camera
• Lamps or direct light sources
within the camera's range of vision
Electrostatic charging
Electrostatic charging can cause
irreparable damage to the circuit
board as a result of direct contact.
For this reason, direct contact with

the circuit board must be avoided.

Mounting
1 Release the three Allen screws at
the foot of the camera by half a turn
to allow the wall arm to move. Then
fasten the wall arm with the camera
to the wall. Use the drilling template
on the fold­out cover page. Use the
provided wall plugs and screws.
2 Align the camera and fix in the
required position using the 3 Allen
screws. Do not move the camera
with the wall arm fixed, as this can
compromise the seal of the camera
housing.
3 Remove the camera housing in
order to set the zoom and focus.
From the back, release the two Allen
screws and pull off the housing
towards the front. Remove the
silica gel inserted in the factory and
dispose of.
When mounting on the ceiling,
the camera and the housing
must be turned by 180°.
For connection to the building
installation, the external camera
CEC 612-... requires a separate
customarily available junction box.
4 The zoom is set using controller a,
the focus is set using controller b.
c Using DIL switch 1­8, it is possible
to change the camera settings. (see
table)
5 Remove the packaged silica gel
bag from the protective film and
insert it in the camera housing. The
silica gel prevents the formation of
moisture (due to the temperature
difference outside and inside the
housing). Only unpackage the silica
gel from the protective bag when
the camera housing is screwed shut.
Opening the bag too early can result
in the silica gel becoming saturated
prematurely, making it unusable.
After screwing together the housing,
remove the protective film at the
viewing window.
