3. Solartrennsystem
3.7 Befüllen der Solaranlage
Note:
When filling the system the collector temperature must be less than 100°C. On sunny, intensive radiation days the system
should therefore be filled in the morning or evening (if necessary cover the collectors).
The hoses are fixed at the point/connections (Fig 8) provided . Open all ball valves.
•
•
The setting screw on volumetric flow meter 1 (see Fig 8) points with the tip facing the back.
•
Connect the filling pump between the solar liquid container and the upper
connection of the volumetric flow meter.
•
Hang the ends of the hoses in the solar liquid and leave submerged during
the whole filling and venting process.
Start the pumping process. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
•
•
Fill the system with the medium and pump it through the circuit until the
system has been adequately flushed or vented.
•
The venting is completed when there no more gas bubbles can be seen In
the solar liquid.
•
Place the setting screw at the volumetric flow meter in a vertical position.
Dismantle the filling hoses.
•
3.8 Service information on proper and functioning
starting up of the solar system
Important!
After filling the system and the subsequent pressure and leak test of the boiler or reservoir, the connection
with the downstream pipe system can only be made by actuating (opening) the three-way ball valve in the
return, as the overpressure (test pressure) in the boiler/reservoir can cause a pressure surge. If the three-way
ball valve in the inlet is opened first, this pressure surge could damage the gravity brake in the return.
