Bluetooth
is a radio communication system con-

necting electronic devices within a range of max.
10 metres. Bluetooth
allows you to use your

mobile device via the PCRN to accept, make
and end calls. You can use your vehicle's audio
system as a hands-free device and to access
your phonebook.
This access depends on the functionalities
provided by the mobile device used.

Mobile device requirements

Not all mobile devices are equally suited to sup-
port the Bluetooth
 interface of the PCRN.

Your mobile device must support Bluetooth

Your mobile device must support Handsfree
Profile 1.0 or higher.
-
Your mobile device must be switched on, and
Bluetooth
must be enabled.

Some mobile devices must be set up to make
your own device "visible" to other Bluetooth
devices.
For further information about the settings of
your mobile device please refer to the manufac-
turer's operating instructions.
Some mobile devices show a specific
behaviour toward Bluetooth
 or do not sup-
®
port Bluetooth
entirely. Please contact your
®
mobile device dealer or update your mobile
device with the latest software.

Hands-free sound quality

The quality of the hands-free feature may be
affected by:
-
fans, open windows or folded-down softtop,
-
wind or road noise,
-
poor connection to the cellular network,
-
high road speeds.

Interruptions while driving

Calls may be interrupted:
-
if GSM coverage is insufficient,
.
-
if you move from one GSM cell to another
®
which does not have a free channel,
-
if you use a SIM card that is not compatible
with the available cellular network,
-
if you use two SIM cards and the mobile
device is logged into the network with the
second SIM card at the same time.
