WARNING Read all saftey warnings
and all instructions. Failure to follow the war-
nings and instructions may result in electric
shock, fi re and/or serious injury. Save all war-
nings and instructions for future reference.
- When the grooving machine is not in use, befo-
re all servicing work, before changing the cutter,
etc.: unplug the cable!
- Ensure that the machine is switched off before
inserting the plug in the socket.
- Check plug and cable for damage before inser-
ting. If damage is found, replacement must be
made immediately by a technician.
- Make sure before starting the grooving machi-
ne that the rated voltage on the name-plate cor-
responds with the mains voltage. The machine
is only suitable for AC power supplies.
- The grooving machine is double-insulated and
(conforming to CEE and VDE re gu la tions) has
a two-conductor cable without ground conductor.
The machine can be con nected without risk to an
ungrounded socket.
- Do not drill the motor case (e.g. to attach
labels) since this damages the double
insulation. Use only adhesive labels for
labelling.
- Clamp workpiece
- Guide machine with both hands
- Use only perfectly sharpened cutters, since
otherwise increased cutting forces may shift
the work away.
- Use only cutters rated for manual feed.
- Do not stop the cutter after switching off.
- The baseplate must function sa tis factorily, wi-
thout jamming. Do not use the machine with
damaged baseplate.
- The baseplate must not be clamped with the
cutter driven out.

El incumplimiento de las advertencias e inst-
rucciones puede provocar descargas eléctricas,
incendios y / o lesiones graves. Conserve todas
las advertencias e instrucciones para su futura
consulta.
- Saque el enchufe de la red cuando no usa la
fresadora, y muy especialmente antes de hacer
trabajos de servicio, antes de cambiar la fresa,
etc.
- Conecte el enchufe con la red, sólo si la máqui-
na está desconectada.
- Compruebe el enchufe y el cable respecto a
daños, antes de enchufarlos. En caso de da-
ños, hágalos cambiar inmediatamente por un
especialista.
- Verifi que antes de la puesta en servicio de la
fresadora si la tensión indicada en la placa de
datos coincide con la de la red. La máquina
funciona sólo con corriente alterna.
- La fresadora tiene un aislamiento doble (según
las reglamentaciones de CEE y VDE) y tiene
un cable de dos almas sin conductor de pro-
tección. Puede conectar la máquina sin incon-
veniente un tomacorriente sin puesta a tierrra.
- No taladre en la carcasa del motor (p.ej. para
fi jar placas), ya que de este modo se elimina
el aislamiento doble. Use sólo pegatinas para
fi nes de marcación.
- Apretar la pieza
- Guiar la máquina con las dos manos
- Use sólo fresas perfectamente afi ladas, si no
las fuerzas de corte elevadas pueden hacer
saltar la pieza a trabajar, de forma que se la
separa.
- Use sólo fresas para avance manual.
- No frene la fresa después de haberla descon-
ectado.
