HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

The vacuum cleaner is designed for cleaning hard surfaces, such as wooden, plastic and ceramic tile floors,
and soft surfaces, such as carpets, fitted carpets, upholstered furniture, etc.
Before starting to vacuum for the first time, connect together all required accessories:
- make sure the textile bag (13) and the internal filter (15), which are included in the set, are in place. For this
purpose, open the cover (4) by pressing the button (5). After checking, press the cover until it clicks into place.
It is possible to use interchangeably paper bags designed for a given model.
- make sure the external filter (14) is in place,
- insert the end of the flexible hose (7) into the whole in the cover (4),
- connect the suction hose (9) with the flexible hose (7) and install the right attachment (10 or 11),
- extend the power cord to the required length,
- connect the power cord to the mains with parameters compliant with those given in the Instructions for Use,
- press the ON/OFF button (1) to start the vacuum cleaner. When vacuuming,
it is possible to change the suction power by means of the control button (8),
- press the ON/OFF button (1) to turn the appliance off,
- press and hold the button (2) to rewind the cable.
Do not vacuum when the filters (14) and (15) and the bag (13) are not in place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The casing, accessories and power cord should be cleaned with a soft, slightly
moist cloth with a bit of washing-up liquid. Do not immerse the appliance in
water. Do not use any strong cleaning agents as they may cause damage to
the surface of the casing. To ensure proper functioning of the appliance, clean
it, replace the filters and empty the bags on a regular basis.
To empty the textile bag (13)
- disconnect the appliance from the mains,
- remove the hose (7) from the vacuum cleaner,
- open the cover (4),
- pull the bag out of the holder,
- empty the bag after sliding down the plastic slat (phot. 1).
Paper bags should be removed in the same way. Replace the used paper bag with a new one.
Filters
The vacuum cleaner is fitted with two filters:
- internal (inlet) filter (15) protects, among others, the motor against damage.
To access the filter, open the cover (4) and pull out the dust bag (13).
- external filter (14) protects against air pollution in the vacuumed rooms.
Frames of external and internal filters can be washed with water.
Filter elements must not be washed. They should be replaced periodically.
ADVICE AND TIPS
- The vacuum cleaner can be stored in a horizontal or vertical position.
- In the base of the vacuum cleaner and above the external filter there are places (phot. 2a and 2b)
for parking the suction hose (the big brush "10" is fitted with a suitable catch).
- When storing, make sure the suction hose is not bent or squashed too much.
- In case of vacuuming upholstery, small carpets or delicate fabrics, it is recommended to reduce the suction power
by means of the control button (8).
- When vacuuming places that are hard to reach (corners, cracks, etc.), use the two-function nozzle (11). The nozzle
is also fitted with a brush which makes it possible to remove dust from furniture, books, etc.
- The holder (12) facilitates storage of segments of the suction hose (phot. 3).
- The bag must be replaced when the vacuum cleaner vacuums much less effectively or when the indicator (3)
signals that the bag is full.
- Carry the vacuum cleaner using the handle (6).
