Einstellungen
Als Grundeinstellung vor der Inbetrieb-
nahme empfehlen wir folgende Regler-
positionen: Empfindlichkeit (Gain)

80 Hz. Schalten Sie die Anlage ein und
wählen Sie von Cassette oder CD ein
Musikstück mit ausgeprägter Basswie-
dergabe. Erhöhen Sie die Lautstärke an
Ihrem Stereogerät bis zum gewünsch-
ten Lautstärkepegel. Drehen Sie nun
den Gainregler 1 vorsichtig so weit auf,
bis Sie eine deutliche Verstärkung des
Basspegels hören. Danach wählen Sie
mit dem Crossoverregler 3 eine Fil-
tereinstellung, die einen gut kontounier-
ten Bass erreicht. Eventuell müssen Sie
die Gainreglereinstellung 1 und die Fil-
tereinstellung 3 wechselweise optimie-
ren.
Dröhnender Bass mit übertriebenen
Volumen erfordert eine Filtereinstellung
mit niedriger Frequenz.
Der Phasenregler soll so eingestellt
werden daß sich der Bass möglichst gut
in das Klangbild integriert und nicht als
einzelne Quelle hörbar wird.
Überprüfen Sie Ihre Einstellungen der
CMS 266 auch mit voll aufgedrehtem
Bassregler und ggf. eingeschalteter
Loudness. Eine Übersteuerung der
ACTIV-WOOFER-BOX durch zu hoch
gewählte Verstärkung (Pos. 1) führt zu
verzerrter Wiedergabe und kann den
Lautsprecher zerstören.

observe the vehicle manufacturer's
safety instructions.
- Make sure you do not damage ve-
hicle components when drilling any
holes.
- The cross sections of the positive
and negative cables must not be
less than 2.5 mm
- Incorrect installation may cause in-
terference with electronic vehicle
systems or your car radio.
Instructions for installation and
connection
The final stage must be installed pro-
fessionally for reasons of safety. The
mounting surface must be suitable for
the screws provided, and must provide
firm support (see Fig. 1).
Fit a fuse in the amplifier power line no
more than 30 cm from the vehicle bat-
tery, in order to protect the battery in the
event of a short-circuit between it and
the power amplifier. The amplifier's own
fuse protects the amplifier itself, but not
the car battery.
