Before the installation

Points of installation work
• Provide sound insulation measures .............................................. 14
• Outdoor ducts (2 pcs.) must be treated for the heat insulation to
prevent dewing .............................................................................. 15
• Spaces of 50 mm minimum must be secured between transmission
cables and the power cable .......................................................... 17
• Confirmation of the main/sub selector switch (SW1) in the control
box and the test run/pulse input switch (SW2) ......................... 18, 21
• Check the revolving directions of blowers during the trial operation ....23-24
Sound insulating method
Where the product is installed next to a quiet environment, the
following measures must be taken not to release sounds to the
circumstance and to reduce the reverberation.
Prevention of spaces around door
Use materials having a higher sound transmission loss for the wall
separating the product and the indoor as well as the door. The wall
and door must be of the closed type structures.
Spaces around the door must be so arranged that sounds will not
leak.

Wrapping with noise absorbing materials (Example: Glass wool 50t)
In order to silence the sound of wind stream, the suction and
exhaust ducts of the product must be wrapped with material
having a higher sound absorbing coefficient. (It is effective also for
prevention of dewing on the ducts at the indoor side.)
Selection of installation site
1. Foundation must be rigid and level surface.
2. Install where the main unit is protected from rain water and
rainwater will not ingress via the duct.
3. Install at a place under conditions of the ambient temperatures in
the range of -10°C ~ 40°C and the humidity no higher than 80%.
4. Install at a place where the spaces as shown below can be secured.
• Space allowing to tighten nuts for anchor bolts
