• If the device has fallen into water, pull out the mains plug immedi
ately, and only then remove the device from the water. Do not use
the device again, but have it checked by a specialist.
• Should liquid get into the device, pull out the mains plug immedi
ately. Have the device checked before operating it again.
DANGER of electric shock
• Do not operate the device if it or the cable shows visible
signs of damage or if the device has been dropped.
• Only connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket,
which is easily accessible and supplies voltage matching
the rating plate. The socket must still be easily accessible
after connection.
• Ensure that the cable cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot
surfaces. Do not wrap the cable around the device (cable break
danger!).
• Make sure the cable is not trapped or crushed.
• Ensure that the cable does not come into contact with the hot
surfaces of the device.
• Always pull on the mains plug and never on the cable when
removing the device.

• To avoid any risk, do not make any changes to the device. Do not
replace the cable yourself either. Repairs should only be carried out

DANGER - Fire hazard
• Never leave the device unattended while plugged in.
• Never cover the device or place it on soft objects (e.g. bath towels).
Always place the switchedon/hot device on a solid, level, heatre
sistant surface.
• Never use petroleum, alcohol or other inflammable cleaning agents.
• When using hair styling products, follow the instructions of the
manufacturer.
• Do not use an extension cable.
DANGER of burns
• Never touch the hot heating plates or the hot surfaces of
the casing. Only hold the hot device by the surfaces of the
grip.
• Always keep away from the skin of the scalp, neck and face.
• Allow the device to cool down completely before you clean it or put
it away.

steps on it!
