An accumulation of spent orange halves in the
disposal bin will eventually cause the machine to stop

automatically and sound an acoustical warning signal.
At this point the bin may not be completely full. To
redistribute the spent peels to continue the squeezing
process, activate the manual "S" device located in the
orange peel disposal bin, as illustrated below. The
machine will resume operation until the tray is
completely filled. When full, empty the tray.

If you prefer chilled orange juice, insert fresh
refrigerated oranges. NEVER insert frozen fruit into the
machine, as this will cause severe damage to the
Expressa; To maximize vitamin consumption, drink the
juice immediately.
•Should you need to store the orange juice for a few
hours, place it directly into the refrigerator.
• Be sure to use only oranges, lemons (be sure to trim
the knobs from the ends of the lemons before
squeezing) or grapefruit (using adapter kit for
adjustable fruit dimensions) with the Expressa. To
obtain the pure juice from all other fruit and vegetables,
you may purchase our Oranfresh Juice Extractor and
Blender.
