The electric circuit of the kettle and of the car is protected by a fuse.
CAUTION:
Before first use, it is recommended that you wash the inside of the kettle and lid with hot water and detergent, run one
heating cycle and empty the kettle to drain. Only then is the kettle ready for operation.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Caution!
Always disconnect the power supply cable from the mains outlet before cleaning the appliance.
Prior to handling, make sure the appliance has cooled down!
Only use a wet cloth for cleaning the surface; never use detergents or hard objects, as they may damage it.
Never clean the appliance under running water; do not rinse it or immerse in water!
Limescale removal
Impurities from water build up during normal use. To clean the kettle, use commercially available limescale removal
products and observe the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Note: Remove the sediment inside the kettle regularly, about once a week, depending on water hardness and frequency
of use. Deposits reduce the heating effect and the service life of the appliance considerably.
SERVICING
Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an
expert service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
• The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Polyethylene bags shall be handed over for recycling.
