Mounting / Cap closing
The module should be mounted directly on a valve. It requires one
M3 screws (Form H, Phillips) with the fixing hole.
The cap is to be mounted after insertion of the flat cable according
to the following representation. Pay attention to the correct position
of the flat cable.
The cable must be putted off case on min. 10mm without
mechanical tension.

AS-I – Bus connection
The module is connected to the Bus by flat profile cable yellow
(13). The cable is laid through the AS-I cable guide in the module
(Sensors are supplied through the AS-Interface-Bus).
Connection of the extern supply
The module is connected to the extern supply by flat profile cable
black (11). The cable is laid through the ext. pow. cable guide in
the module (Actuators are supplied through this cable).
Cable preparation
The module is connected to the Bus and to the extern supply by
flat profile cable.
Unscrew the cap screw (7) and open the cap.
Both cable are laid through the cable guide in the module.
Vampire connection: lay the cable through the cable guide and
press contacts.
The cable to the last participating module must be cut off at the
good distance and put the correct end cap of
the cable. Then lay the cable through the
cable guide and press contacts.
Close the cap and screw the cap screw.

Remark:
There are two different end cap for flat cable:
left

Actuators connection
The actuators are directly connected to a round plug connector
M12 female. A valve should be connected to the module via the
form A 18mm connector (DIN43650 - ISO4400).

Remark:
If all the M12 sockets are not used they must be
closed by means of the
screw cap (55468),
otherwise IP67 will not be attained.

Addressing
In order to re-address a module, the addressing unit needs to be
connected to the address socket on the Slave via a cable. See
instructions for the individual addressing module. Slaves can also
be re-addressed via the Bus system using the Bus master (see
Bus master handbook).
AS-I slaves can have an address between (0), 1...31.
The module address is stored in the modules own memory.

Slave-Profil
The slave profile is written by the master into a non-volatile
memory in the slave. The slave profile described the purpose and
the I/O of the slave. It is described by the IO, ID and ID2 codes.
Only modules having the same slave profile can be exchanged.
Indication
The module has integrated LED indication, which shows module
status. The meaning of these are shown in the table below.

the Peripheryfault will be triggered, and the fault
will be signalled to the Master (only 2.1 Master).
