Vorsicht! Blicken Sie bei geöffneter CD-Schublade
nicht in den CD-Schacht. Eventuell austretende
Laserstrahlen können zu Augenschäden führen.

Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein-

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieser CD-Player ist speziell für den professionellen
DJ-Bereich konzipiert. Viele Funktionsmöglichkeiten
sind genau auf diesen Einsatzbereich abgestimmt,
z. B. nahtlose Wiedergabe einer Endlosschleife
(Seam less Loop), Einzeltitelwiedergabe oder Beat-
counter. Auf dem CD-Player lassen sich Standard-
Audio-CDs (CD-DA = compact disc digital audio) und
CDs mit Titeln im MP3-Format abspielen, auch selbst
ge brannte CDs (Audio CD-R). Bei wiederbeschreib -
baren CDs (CD-RW) kann es je doch je nach CD-
Typ und verwendetem CD-Brenner beim Abspielen
zu Problemen kommen.
Der CD-Player ist mit einem Anti-Shock-Speicher
ausgestattet, der Störungen beim Ab tasten der CD
durch Stöße oder Vibrationen bis 10 Sekunden aus-
gleichen kann.

Inbetriebnahme
4.1
Gerät aufstellen und anschließen
Der CD-Player ist für die Montage in ein Rack
(482 mm/19") vorgesehen. Hierzu werden 2 Höhen -
einheiten b e nötigt (1 Höheneinheit = 44,45 mm). Er
lässt sich aber auch als freistehendes Tischgerät
verwenden. In diesem Fall muss er auf einer ebe-
nen, waagerechten Fläche aufgestellt werden.

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con -
nected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be con -
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
If the unit is to be put out of operation de -
finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.

Applications
This CD player has been specially designed for pro-
fessional DJ applications. Many functional features
have precisely been matched to this range of appli-
cation, e. g. seamless loop, single title replay, or beat
counter. The CD player allows to replay standard
audio CDs (CD-DA = compact disc digital audio) and
CDs with titles in MP3 format, even CDs you have
burnt yourself (audio CD-R). However, problems in
replaying rewritable CDs (CD-RW) may occur
depending on the CD type and the CD burner used.
The CD player is provided with an anti-shock
memory which is able to compensate shocks or
vibrations of up to 10 seconds occurring during the
CD sampling.
