Power source
General Information:
Operation only when the vehicle is standing. Any function of the device must be off until the vehicle has
stopped. Stop the vehicle in a safe place before operating the equipment. Otherwise you might cause
an accident.
Operating volume:
The volume must be set that you can hear outside noises (sirens and other warning signs in particular)
Excessively high volume levels in the vehicle can also cause hearing loss.
Open / repair of the unit:
Do not open the device. Opening the unit is a risk of electric shock or fire hazard. Discontinue using
the device if a problem occurs. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Only qualified service
personnel should perform servicing.
Power supply:
Use the device only with a 12 volt electrical system and if MINUS is connected to ground. Failure to do
so may result in fire, among others. If in doubt ask your dealer or in a specialist workshop.
Small parts:
Keep small objects (e.g. batteries) away from children, so they do not swallow them.
Replacing fuses:
Replace fuses always by some with the proper amperage. Otherwhise you may cause electric shock
and fire hazard.
