Carburettor adjustment

When carburettor adjustment is completed, cutter blade should not move at idle, otherwise serious personal injury may
result.
When starting, idle speed adjuster (T) should be adjusted not to move the cutter blade.
When there is some trouble with the carburettor, contact your dealer.

Maintenance and care

Every unit is test run at the factory and the carburettor is fine
tuned for maximum performance.
Before adjusting carburettor, clean or replace air filter, start en-
gine and run several minutes to bring it to operating temperature.
1. Idle Speed Adjustment.
Start engine and turn idle speed adjustment screw (T) clock-
wise until the blades begin to move, then turn the screw (T)
anticlockwise until the blades stop moving. Turn screw (T)
anticlockwise an additional 1/2 turn.
2. Accelerate to full throttle for 2 to 3 seconds to clear excess
fuel from engine then return to idle. Accelerate to full throttle
to check for smooth transition from idle to full throttle.
Remove debris attached around the cooling air intake located be-
tween the engine bottom and the fuel tank.
1. Of the bolts fixing the exhaust guide, take out the (M6) bolt
on silencer side and take out the (M4) bolt on the exhaust
port side.
2. Carbon deposits in silencer and exhaust guide will cause a
drop in engine output and overheating. Clean deposits from
silencer and exhaust guide.
3. Put the exhaust guide back in place and tighten two bolts.
4. Tighten two bolts(A).
IMPORTANT
Do not remove the silencer cover. If necessary, Please consult
your dealer.
