CAUTION!
Only operate the control unit only with approved drive units!
Only use with the type-tested cable set included in the delivery!
Do not extend or repair any lines!
In case of damage, replace the line completely!
1. Find a suitable location for the electronic control unit (7), for example under a bench or in the bed
frame. Ensure that this location is close to the battery (but no nearer than 40 cm) and that the location
is dry.
The control unit can be installed vertically on a side wall or lying flat.
In the case of vertical installation, the connections must point downwards in order to avoid any
ADVICE
short-circuits caused by objects falling into the unit.
2. Secure the control unit with two screws 5 x 40 (11) firmly in position.
If the supplied screws are not long enough or are not suitable for the required fastening type, please
ADVICE
replace them accordingly!
3. Drill a 25 mm hole through the floor of the caravan approximately 150 mm centrally in front of the con-
trol unit (7).
CAUTION!
Avoid contacting the chassis, gas lines and electrical cables!
4. Route the motor cables according to the wiring diagram (1).
Route the motor cables along the bottom of the caravan and through the existing holes.
Protect the cables against sharp edges with the supplied flexible cable protection hose.
5. Fasten the motor cables and cable bundle under the chassis using cable ties (16) or cable clamps (13,
14) and screws (12).
CAUTION!
Motor connection cables:
Red = (+)
Black = (-)
6. Open the cover of the control unit (4).
Avoid the following points during installation:
Stress on the cables from pulling
Drooping cables
Loop routing
WARNING!
Material damage resulting from crushing the motor cable!
Securely route the motor cable in the area of movement of the supports!
After all motor cables are routed to the control unit:
