Adjustment
Only for type RH12 (with potentiometer):
To increase the switching distance: turn potentiometer clockwise.
To reduce switching distance: turn potentiometer counter-
clockwise.
1. Position the sensor to the desired distance from the
object.
2. Turn the sensitivity potentiometer to minimum range.
3. Turn the potentiometer slowly clockwise until the yellow
LED turns on. The object is detected and light is being
received.
4. Remove the object. The background should not be
detected: The yellow LED should not be on.

Measuring accuracy
The sensor reaches its full accuracy after a minimum
switch-on time of 20 minutes under constant ambient
conditions.
The duration of warm-up depends on the ambient condi-
tions.
