Riding a scooter as any other sportive activity using moving elements involves certain risks and it's
possible to come across dangerous situations. Make sure to read this manual carefully before riding a
scooter, with special attention to the safety warnings.
Besides the compliance with the safety warnings, the rider may apply the common sense to guarantee
its own and the others security. The rider assume under its own responsibility the risks derived from
using this scooter. The responsibility of using this scooter by children under age 18, belong to the
parents or minor tutors, who should decide if the minor has the common sense and enough capacity
for riding the scooter.
Do not use it by children under age eight (8). When the scooter will be used by children under age
18 should ride it with adult guidance at all times. The responsible person for guidance should inspect
the scooter before using it, making sure that all the components are correctly assembled and fixed to
prevent accidents.

100kg.

use of an approved helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves and the appropriate clothes to practice this
sport should avoid greater evils in case of accident.
Always wear appropriate shoes for this activity, the appropriate one for this activity is a closed one.
Should not use the scooter barefooted or without an appropriate shoes.
Check the restrictions in using the scooter due to the road safety rules of your area. Always respect
and obey them and keep away from motor vehicles.
The appropriate surfaces for the correct use of the scooter should be flat, clean, dry and when it's
possible, away from other users in the way.
Avoid riding a scooter in slippery, frozen, wet, irregular surfaces, with sand, gravel, rocks, dirt or any
other debris. A bad surface will affect negatively in the safety of using the scooter due to the evident
problems of gliding, bad traction, deficiency braking and visibility, all of that should entail the loss of
control with the consequent risk of accident.
Never ride the scooter in darkness conditions.
The braking or reducing velocity mechanism will get hot with a continued use. Do not touch it after
braking, this should cause damage or injury.
Press the braking pedal before riding the scooter to make sure it works correctly.
Do not make any modification in the scooter.
Do not use accessories not supplied with the scooter.
Do not use the scooter with one only hand, the handlebar should hold it always and firmly with both
hands.
Before beginning to use the scooter, check that the handlebar will be fixed solidly. Make turns to left
and
right to make sure that the direction works smooth and correctly.
Do not make sudden and short turns while riding the scooter and do not rest the body in the
handlebar since that should entail the loss of control with the consequent risk of accident.
Do not use the scooter in pronounced slope rides, given that it should become dangerous. The
scooter riders should be careful when riding in those areas. Avoid excessive speed when riding in a
slope. Remember that the continuous use of the braking system should provoke a failure or a reduction
in its effectiveness caused by warming.
