Older sensors can be regenerated by placing them for 12 hours into a KCL solution
(immerse the tip of the sensor about 2 cm)
and calibrate again. Employing this process, it may also be possible to regenerate sen-
sors which had dried out due to an oversight.

pH calibration solutions
The accuracy of the calibration depends decisively on the quality of the calibration solu-
tions. Therefore you should only use original DENNERLE calibration solutions
use fresh calibration solutions and calibrate the sensors in separate, clean vessels. Pour
away calibration solutions after they had been used once. Do not calibrate in the solution bott-
les - water adhering to the sensors could change the calibration solutions.

3 Operation

3.1
Actual pH value
During normal operation, the display shows the actual pH value, as measured in the aquarium.
3.2
Setting the desired pH value (= set value)
Push the "PROGRAMM" button and hold it down for at least 3 seconds. Then set the desired
pH value by slowly turning the large control knob (to + or -). Release the "PROGRAMM" but-
ton. The desired pH value is set. The display again shows the actual pH value.
3.3
Indicating the desired pH value (= set value)
Push the "PROGRAMM" button and hold it down for at least 3 seconds. The display now
shows the set pH value. When the button is released, the actual value is shown again.
4 Functioning during normal operation
4.1
Example: Actual pH value in the aquarium = 7.5. You have set pH 6.8.
