Digital pH-CONTROLLER 588 Comfort
- Instructions for use. Please read carefully and fully before putting this appliance into service.
The Digital pH-Controller 588 Comfort measures the pH value electro-
nically (between pH 5 and pH 8,8) and regulates the supply of CO
the aquarium automatically.
Safety notes
• Should be mounted where contact with water is impossible.
• The mains plug should always be accessible after installation.
• The unit should only be used in rooms with average cleanliness soiling.
• The unit should be kept cool. Do not cover up.
• All cables leading out of the aquarium and the mains cables should have a drip loop, so that water which
may possibly run down cannot get into the appliance or the mains socket.
• Before reaching into the aquarium water, all appliances in the water should be disconnected from the mains.
• IMPORTANT: KCL solution and calibration solutions must be kept away from children and pets. Do not bring into contact
with food-stuffs. If swallowed, consult a physician. In case of eye contact - rinse at once. Consult a physician, if necessary.

• IMPORTANT: Before commencing any maintenance work, all appliances in the
aquarium should be switched off or the mains cable plugs pulled out.
• Should the connecting cable of the unit be damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, his after-sales service or by a person with similar qualifications, to
avoid possible hazards.
1 Installation
1.1 Wall mounting
Securely fasten the mounting bracket of the pH-Controller to a vertical wall. Push the pH-
Controller sideways onto the mounting bracket. The unit locks into place. Contact with
water should be impossible!
For removing the pH-Controller, insert a screw driver between mounting rail and pH-
Controller, twist slightly and pull the unit off.
