Deleting
Set the hours to 23 and the minutes to 59 in the program to be deleted (P1 – P4). Press the
Symbol button
(7) once. The display switches to --:--. Your settings have been deleted.
Automatic mode
Press the symbol button
(5) until the function arrow points to AUTO. The day-time switch
clock is in program mode and is running the programmed settings (switching times).
Random function
Press the symbol button
(5) until the function arrow points to RANDOM. The day-time
switch clock now switches on at random between 18:00 and 05:00. The switch-on duration
varies in steps of 4, 12, 20, 28, 36, 44, 52 and 60 minutes. The switch-off duration varies in
steps of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 minutes. Example: At 18:00, the system is switched on
for 20 minutes and then switched off for 24 minutes, then switched on again for 60 minutes
and switched off for 18 minutes, and so on, until 05:00 the next day.
Permanent on
Press the symbol button
(5) until the function arrow points to ON. The socket (10) is
permanently switched on, regardless of the programmed switching times.
Permanent off
Press the symbol button
(5) until the function arrow points to OFF. The socket (10) is
permanently switched off, regardless of the programmed switching times.
Connect Device
Insert the plug (1) into the 12 V socket. It may be necessary to remove the cap (2) first.
Connect the consumer unit to the socket (10). If the consumer unit has an on/off switch,
turn this on.

Assembly
a) The clips supplied are snapped into place at the rear (9). The device can thus be clipped
onto the ventilation grille.
b) Affix hook and loop tape to the day-time switch clock and to the place where it is to be
mounted.
Changing fuses
The plug (1) comes equipped with an 8A fuse. This can be replaced by removing the cap (2)
and taking apart the plug (1) by taking out the screws.
Important points
• Protect from heat, humidity, cold and direct sunlight.
• Do not install switch clock on top of the dashboard.
• In the event of a power cut, the day-time switch clock shuts down but the real-
time clock continues running.
Appliances such as television sets, air heaters etc. may not be controlled by the day-
time switch clock for safety reasons!

Do not dispose of used batteries with unsorted household waste. You are required by
law to return all used batteries. These can be returned free-of-charge to the place of
sale. Batteries contain substances that are harmful to the environment and to human
health and must therefore be disposed of correctly.
