Digital day-time switch clock LZM with week/
day program and random event generator
Functions of the switch clock
• 2 programs per day can be preselected (2 x ON, 2 x OFF)
• LCD display
• Programmable to the nearest minute
• Replaceable battery (emergency back-up)
• Random function

1. Plug for dashboard cigarette lighter/dashboard socket
2. Cap for use with cigarette lighter (remove when using standard dashboard socket)

LCD display details (Fig. C)
Two arrows can be seen in the LCD display. One arrow points to the day of the week. The
abbreviations have the following meanings.
M
= Monday
T
= Tuesday
W
= Wednesday
TH
= Thursday
F
= Friday
SA
= Saturday
SU
= Sunday
The second arrow points to the currently active function.
TIME
= set time
PROGRAM
= programming mode
AUTO
= day-time switch clock is in programm mode
ON
= permanently switched on
OFF
= permanently switched off
= socket connected
= socket not connected
P1 / P2 / P3 / P4 = Programs 1 to 4

Starting up for the first time
Insert the supplied batteries with the + terminal facing up into the battery compartment (Fig.
B). Press the reset button (3) with a pointed object such as a ballpoint pen.
This deletes all existing data so that the clock can be reset.
All visible symbols appear on the LCD display (4) for approx. 2 secs (Test) and then the time.

In general
When programming, please remember that if no entries have been made for
about 60 seconds, the day-time switch clock reverts to displaying real-time.
Data that were entered up to that point are saved.
Adjusting the time
• Press the button
(5) until the function arrow is pointing to TIME, the weekday arrow
begins to blink.
• Set the correct weekday by pressing the button
• Confirm the input with the OK button (6).
• Hour display begins to blink
• Set the required hour by pressing the button
• Confirm the input with the OK button (6).
• Minute display begins to blink
• Set the required minutes by pressing the button
• Confirm the input with the OK button (6).
To quit time adjustment mode, press the button
Programming the switch clock
The day-time switch clock has four programs P1 / P2 / P3 / P4 that can be reprogrammed
for each day of the week.

P2 / P3 / P4 that can be reprogrammed for each day of the week.
Programs P1 and P3 switch the socket (10) ON and programs P2 and P4 switch
the socket (10) OFF. The programs can be individually programmed for each week-
day. That means there can be 2 switch-on and 2 switch-off times per day x 7 days
(Mo- Su) = a max. of 14 switch-on and 14 switch-off times a week.
1. Press the symbol button
(5) until the function arrow is pointing to PROGRAM, the
weekday arrow begins to blink. P1 and

pressing the button
