Ultraviolet (UV)
Faulty bank notes are detected by means of UV light.
CF1
appears in the display if faulty bank notes are de­
tected. Press the SET and + buttons to activate/
deactivate the function and set the sensitivity. If this
function is active, UV appears in the display.
Magnetic (MG)
This function detects magnetic ink on the bank notes.
CF2
appears in the display if faulty bank notes are de­
tected. Press the SET and + buttons to activate/
deactivate the function and set the sensitivity. If this
function is active, MG appears in the display.
Width (DD)
This function defines the width of the first bank note as
the reference width. The function is triggered when the
width of a bank note deviates by 3 to 5 mm, depending
on the accuracy setting.
The width of the first bank note is used as the refer­
ence.
Press the SET and + buttons to activate/deac­
tivate the function and set the sensitivity. If this function
is active, DD appears in the display.
This validation function is always active when the
value count and sorting functions are on. Strong
magnetic fields can affect the sensor and falsify results.
Doubled (DEN)
This function is triggered when the thickness of the
bank note is greater than 0.16 mm.

Press the SET and + buttons to activate/deac­
tivate the function and set the sensitivity. If this function
is active, DEN appears in the display.
Connected
This function is triggered when the reference width of
the bank note is exceeded by 1/3.

Half
This function is triggered when the length of the bank
note is less than 70 mm.

This function monitors the metallic strips in the bank
notes.
If this function is active, MT appears in the display.

Operation

Switching the bank note counter on/off
The bank note counter is switched on and off using the
switch on the rear of the machine.

disconnect it from the power outlet.

After switching the machine on, it performs a self-test.
Switch the machine on.
