2 Safety Notes
The units (microphone, receiver, plug-in power supply
unit) correspond to all required directives of the EU
and are therefore marked with
WARNING The plug-in power supply unit is sup-
plied with hazard ous mains voltage
(230 V~). Leave servic ing to skilled per-
sonnel only. Inexpert handling may
cause an electric shock hazard.
For operation also observe in any case the following
items:
G
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).
G
Even if the receiver is switched off, the plug-in power
supply has a low power consumption.
G
Do not set the receiver to operation and immediately
disconnect the plug-in power supply from the mains if:
1. damage at the plug-in power supply or the re -
ceiver is visible,
for the power supply via the
.
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or simi-
lar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The units must be repaired in any case by author -
ized personnel.
G
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
G
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the units are used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if they are not cor-
rectly connected, operated, or not repaired in an
expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation de -
finitively, take them to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
3 Applications
The wireless microphone system consists of a micro-
phone with integrated, battery-operated transmitter
and antenna, the corresponding receiver as well as a
plug-in power supply. This system allows wireless
music and speech transmission from the microphone
to the re ceiver. The operating range is approx. 30 m
and depends on local conditions.
The microphone system is available for three
dif ferent transmission channels (transmission frequen-
cies) :
Model
Frequency
TXS-140SET
175.00 MHz
TXS-142SET
195.25 MHz
TXS-143SET
197.10 MHz
Thus, signals of three microphones can be transmitted
on different channels when using three models. Due to
the colour code it can easily be recognized which
microphone cooperates with the respective receiver.
3.1 Conformity and Approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL de clare that
the units TXS-140SET, TXS-142SET and TXS-143SET
are in accordance with the basic requirements and the
other relevant regulations of the directive 1999/5/EC.
The declaration of conformity can be found in the
Internet via the MONACOR INTER NATIONAL home
page (www.imgstageline.com).
In the Federal Republic of Germany, a frequency
assignment (for which a charge is payable) is re quired
for the wireless transmitters. The forms and notes con-
cerning the registration for the transmitters can be
found in the Internet on the Web site of the Bun -
desnetzagentur (Federal Network Agency) under
www.bundesnetzagentur.de. In other countries, it is
necessary to apply for a corresponding approval. Prior
to operating the system outside Germany, please
contact the MONACOR subsidiary or the correspond -
ing authorities of the respective country.
