14) When connecting the tubes, make sure that the tube from the pump (not supplied) and/or from the fi lter
unit (not supplied with the machine) is connected in the indicated position marked INLET (Ref. F), the
return tube to the aquarium is connected at the position marked OUTLET (Ref. C)
15) CAUTION: Ensure that the water reaching the machine is fi ltered.
16) Start the pump. Ensure that the water circulates properly within the circuit and that there are no losses. In
the event of anomalies in the hydraulic circuit or losses from the same, review the connections.
17) Ensure that the electrical power values correspond to those shown on the technical data plaque attached
to the machine.
18) WARNING: Connect to the electrical mains using a 20A circuit breaker as required by cur-
rent applicable standards. The power cable passes through the fairlead located between the water
connectors (Ref. E)
19) The power switch must be mono-polar with a minimum aperture of the contacts of 3 mm, and must be
installed in a fi xed position close to the machine
20) Earthing the cooler is obligatory in order to avoid electric shocks in the event of a short circuit
21) With the pump operating, turn the power switch onto position "1"; the machine will start. The display will
indicate the temperature of the water.
22) CAUTION: In order to avoid compressor failure, a delay has been inserted for the fi rst start
up.
23) CAUTION: In order to avoid damage to the machine, operation without water circulating
(pump off ) is blocked. There is a protection fl ow switch within the exchanger, which is capable of
detecting if there is a suffi cient fl ow of water in the unit. Should that not be the case, an FLO error
will appear on the display and the machine will remain in stand-by until the normal conditions of
use are reset.
24) NOTES: ONLY FOR TRI-PHASE MACHINES. If, on fi rst start-up, the display shows error EE4,
please check the electrical connection. In that specifi c case, try swapping two phases
25) To stop the machine, move the power switch to position "0".
