Feed the tension belt via the reverse plate in to the column.

Loop the tension belt through the buckle as shown above
and tighten the bolts finger tight.

Tighten the spring according to the preload as indicated on the label of the spring.
Attach the tension belt for good by tightening the bolts on the buckle.

Connect the power supply and switch it on.
