INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALLER
The lifting station CICLON LS, allows to pump waste water from showers, bathtubs, sinks, washbasins, bidets,
washing machines or dish washing machines. (A)
The lifting station allows to pump waste waters up to 7 m in vertical or 72 m horizontal. (B)
CONNECTING OUTLET: Glue the non-return valve (D1) to the Ø32 PVC pipe avoiding the glue fall inside, avoi-
ding its closing, screw the set over the outlet.
It is not recommended the installation of inclined sections or 90° elbows, instead, outlet should first cover verti-
cal distance and afterwards horizontal one, with 1% slope which makes water flow by gravity, 45° elbows are
recommended for turns on the installation. (F1, F2)
To prevent water siphoning from the outlet pipe when discharge point is below the lifting station level, it is recom-
mended to install an aireation valve (Jimten type A-69) on the highest point of the outlet pipe. (F3)
When a shower tray or bathtub is installed, waste outlet should be at a minimum height of 18 cm to prevent
water returns to the unit.
According to the low voltage electro-technical regulations, it is recommended that the power plug is placed at
the minimum distance of 1m from any water source.
CONNECTING LATERAL INLETS: The lifting station is supplied with 5 inlets (lateral and top) with nut and coni-
cal joint connections which allows to install 40 or 32 mm pipes (using G5 adaptor)
To connect, unscrew 1 " nut (G3), remove the cover (G4), place when necessary (high right lateral inlet) the
supplied non-return valve (G6A, G6B), as well as a reduced conical joint (G5).
Position the nut (G3) over the pipe, fit it on the mounted conical joint (G5) and screw.
CONNECTING TOP INLETS: Follow same steps than lateral connection except non-return valve installation,
not necessary.
The lifting station must be installed to be easily accessible for maintenance or cleaning works.(E)
The unit has the Caset system which requires 22 cm free height over the lifting station so it can be disassem-
bled.
The lifting station cannot be installed concealed inside walls or in any way that avoids free ventilation of the
motor through the top of the caset cover.
The lifting station has a 2 year warranty, always if it is installed according to this manual. The unit does not
require any special maintenance, although in need for service, the operation should be done by an authorized
technician. Please check the applicable warranty conditions for your country.
The lifting station CICLON LS complies with the requirements for CE marking, according to Applus.
Complies with applicable European norms EN-12050-2, according to LGA Qualitest GMBH (LGA Certificate)
and according to WRAS (Buildcert Certificate)
INSTRUCTIONS TO FINAL USER
USE: Once it is installed the lifting station does not need a special maintenance in normal working conditions.
Water entering in the lifting station Hill switch it on, and the unit will itself stop. Only waste water must be dischar-
ged through the unit, other waste elements such as: hairs, food waste, lighted cigarettes, etc. (C) It is allowed
to pump very hot water ( up to 70 °C for short periods of time, washing machines dishwashing machines. No
corrosive liquid (acids, dissolvent, oils, paints, can be evacuated through the lifting station as they may affect it.
If lifting station is under an intense use some grease may accumulate on the tank, making necessary to clean
the unit. When lifting station is left alone for a long term or the installation is isolated, it is recommended to close
all cock stop valves before the sanitary appliances to prevent risk of leakage. In areas with risk of frost, it is
recommended to protect the water pipes with heat isolation and anti-freeze liquids for plumbing.
