WARNING: Isolate the pump from the main power source before connection, assembly or maintenance.
WARNINGS: Do not wear gloves or loose clothing, as they can be pulled in.
The casing cover may be removed only when the drive is stopped and the power has been
disconnected.
Before operating the pump, all valves in the pipe work must be opened. A hazardous bursting
condition could develop and/or the excessive pressure will damage the pump and hose and
may cause harm to personnel.
CAUTIONS: Positive displacement pumps should always be fitted with a relief valve on the discharge. Other-
wise, the pump could be damaged if the maximum pressure is exceeded.
When selecting the method of lifting, the means of fixing and carrying the pump must be taken
into account. Pay attention to the maximum weight limit of the lifting gear.
When storing the pump for extended periods (longer than five (5) days) remove the hose to
prevent permanent deformation from the rollers.
Use only recommended tubing with Ponndorf Pumps to ensure optimum performance. Use of other tubing
may void applicable warranties.
