MG Detection
The MG function responds to magnetic features of bank notes. It can also be selected or deselected by
pressing the MG key located on the control panel.
If the machine detects a dubious note when counting, it will stop and emit a beeping sound, while the batch
display shows the message "b". The dubious bill will always be the last one on the stacker and is not counted
with the rest. Counting will be resumed when the dubious bill is removed.
The sensitivity of MG detection can be adjusted. Press the "RESTART" key for 3 seconds. The counter
display will show „F00X" .Keep pressing the "ADD" key until the display shows "bXX". Then press the "+" or
the "-" key to choose the desired sensitivity level (ranging from 0-10 with increasing sensitivity). After
choosing the desired level, press the "RESTART" key to confirm.
Size Detection
The size detection function responds to irregular bank notes dimensions within a counting period.
The sensitivity of size detection can be adjusted. Press the "RESTART" key for 3 seconds. The counter
display will show „F00X" .Keep pressing the "ADD" key until the display shows "dXX". Then press the "+" or
the "-" key to choose the desired sensitivity level (ranging from 0-10 with increasing sensitivity). After
choosing the desired level, press the "RESTART" key to confirm.

ERROR MESSAGES AND SOLUTIONS

In case of operational problems with the EUROLITE Bill Counter UV/MG, the batch display may show an
error message. Please refer to the following for corrective information.

Note: Most of the above-mentioned problems may be caused by dust or dirt inside of the machine. It is
therefore highly recommended to keep the machine clean.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a soft lint-free and moistened cloth. Never use
alcohol or solvents!
