Bills should be correctly placed in the hopper, as indicated by the following:
Place the bills between the counting guides (figure1 and figure2). Lean the bills onto the top of the hopper
plate, in the correct counting position (figure 3).
Note: Counting mode can switch between Automatic and Manual.
In manual counting mode, only by pressing the "RESTART" key after placement of bills can the machine
begin counting.
In automatic counting mode, the machine begins counting immediately after placement of bills.
To change modes, proceed as follows: Press the "RESTART" key for aobut 3 seconds. The ounter display
shows "F002" and press the "RESTART" key again. The display shows "0" and has switched into the other
counting mode.
Addition
Addition can be performed by pressing the "ADD" key (when the ADD indicator is on). The number of
counted bills will appear on the counter display. Removing the counted bills from the stack. The next bills
placed in the hopper will not clear the quantity counted. The will automatically be added to the previous sum.
Press the "ADD" key to close the function and clear the count.
Batch
This function enables stacks of bank notes to be counted into predetermined batches.
The preset batch function can be performed by pressing the "BATCH" key (when the BATCH indicator is on).
When pressing the "BATCH" key, the batch number is set to 100. By pressing it again, the batch number can
be changed (to 50 after the first press and to 20 after the second press). The batch number can be set in
amounts between 1 and 999 by pressing the "+" or the "-" key for longer than 1 second
To clear this function, keep pressing the "BATCH" key until the indicator is off.
The batch function will deactivate during a power failure.
Under the batch counting mode, once the hopper is loaded, the machine will start counting and stop when
the counted quantity reaches the preset batch quantity.
To repeat the batch counting operation under the same preset batch quantity, just remove the counted bills
from the stacker. The unit will batch the next group of bills under the same settings.
Additional-Functions
UV Detection
The UV function responds to ultraviolet features of bank notes. It can also be selected or deselected by
pressing the UV key located on the control panel.
If the machine detects a dubious note when counting, it will stop and emit a beeping sound, while the batch
display shows the message "A". The dubious bill will always be the last one on the stacker and is not
counted with the rest. Counting will be resumed when the dubious bill is removed.
The sensitivity of UV detection can be adjusted. Press the "RESTART" key for 3 seconds. The counter
display will show "F00X". Keep pressing the "ADD" key until the display shows "AXX". Then press the "+" or
the "-" key to choose the desired sensitivity level (ranging from 0-10 with increasing sensitivity). After
choosing the desired level, press the "RESTART" key to confirm.
