2.6.1 Integration of push-buttons via push-button coupler

Push-buttons can be connected via push-button couplers without additional commissioning to
the DALI line. Each connected push-button coupler has four inputs (A-D).
Basic setting of the push-button coupler
In the basic setting (=factory setting) all inputs/push-buttons have the same function.
The function corresponds to the push-button that is directly connected to the push-button input
of the control unit 3.3.

Alternative function / push-button allocation of the push-button coupler
Push-button function on coupler input A:
• SP: Switch on and off DALI CH-1 (toggle function)
LP: Dimming up and down DALI CH-1 (toggle function)

Push-button function on coupler iinput B:
• SP: Switch on and off DALI CH-2 (toggle function)
• LP: Dimming up and down DALI CH-2 (toggle function)
Push-button function on coupler input C:
SP and LP: Switching on or changing from condition Standby to condition "ON"

Push-button function on coupler input D:
• SP and LP: Switching off or changing from condition "ON" to condition "Standby"
Activating the alternative function / push-button allocation of the push-button coupler
1. Start the programming mode via LP on "Prog" button (5) on the remote control
2. Activate Sensor Select via LP on push-button (10) on the remote control
3. Actuate any of the push-buttons connected to the push-button coupler
4. The lighting dims to 10% brightness, thus indicating that the configuration process
has begun
5. The process is complete after approx. 1 minute (depending on the number of couplers)
and the lighting flashes twice in confirmation
Resetting the push-button coupler to basic setting
1. Start the programming mode via LP on "Prog" button (5) on the remote control
2. Activate Sensor Select via push-button (10) on the remote control
3. Actuate any of the push-buttons connected to the push-button coupler for more than
10 secs.
4. The lighting dims to 10% brightness, thus indicating that the reset process has begun

After the reset process is complete, the lighting briefly switches to 100% and then the original
value is set again.

2.6.2 Integration of sensors via sensor coupler

Sensors can be connected to the DALI line via the sensor coupler without additional
commissioning and allow extension of the motion detection range.
The light values of these sensors are not evaluated.

Important note:
For configuration of the control using infrared remote control, at least one sensor must
be connected to the sensor interface on the control unit.
Important note:
The daylight adjustment uses exclusively the light values of the sensors connected to
the sensor interface.
