Operating Instructions
This product is designed specifically for Canon camera's batteries and is compatible with
the following types: LP-E6/LP-E6N and LP-E8. The UCN1 supports charging batteries in
both slots simultaneously. Output current is adjusted automatically according to input
current to reach optimal charging setting. This product shall NOT be used with other
batteries not specified in this manual.
Automatic Current Adjustment
The UCN1's actual output current depends on the maximum power supplied from the
USB. Output current will get adjusted based on actual power being inputted to the
device. The UCN1 is capable of outputting 1000mA, increasing its efficiency while
shortening charging duration.
Battery Status Monitoring
Once the battery is inserted, the UCN1 will proceed with a initial low current test charge
to diagnose battery status. After the diagnosis, battery status will be shown as Good,
Normal or Poor.
Note: Re-insert the battery when "Poor" appears on screen to avoid the odd of poor
battery contact, replace the battery if "Poor" comes up on screen consistently.
Reverse Polarity and Anti-Short Circuit Protection
The UCN1 makes use of the mechanical reverse polarity protection. Inserting
incompatible batteries or incorrect battery installation will prevent the initiation of the
charging process. The error message "EE EE" will come up on the LCD display when a
short circuited battery is installed.
Battery Recovery
The UCN1 will attempt to recover over-discharged batteries when inserting in the
charging slot. Upon successful battery recovery, the entire battery level indicator will
flash to represent that a battery has been successfully recovered.
Note: This feature only works with protected batteries.
Precautions
1. The UCN1 is only compatible with Canon LP-E6/LP-E6N and LP-E8 camera batteries.
Do NOT attempt to charge other batteries.
2. Moderate heat from this product is to be expected during the charging process. This
is normal.
3. Operating temperature: -10°to 40°C, storage temperature: -20° to 60° C.
4. Carefully read all labels on the device to ensure batteries are installed correctly.
5. Children should be supervised by an adult when using this product.
6. DO NOT leave the product unattended while it is connected to a power supply.
Unplug the product at any sign of malfunction and refer to the user manual.
7. Batteries of short lifespan should be replaced as soon as possible.
8. DO NOT expose the device to high temperature or incinerate, avoid using the device
in environments where drastic changes in temperature are possible.
9. Store the device in ventilated areas. DO NOT uses the device in moist environment
and keep away from any combustible materials.
10. Avoid any shock or impact to the device.
11. DO NOT place any conductive or metal object in the device to avoid short-circuiting
and explosions.
12. Unplug the device when it is not in use.
13. DO NOT disassemble or modify the device as doing so will render the product
warranty invalid. Please refer to the warranty section in the manual for complete
warranty information.

distributors in regards to their warranty claims, as long as the product was purchased
from an authorized dealer or distributor. NITECORE's Warranty is provided only for
products purchased from an authorized source. This applies to all NITECORE products.
Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local
distributor/dealer within the 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, all defective /
malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge for a period of
12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase. Beyond 12 months (1 year), a limited
warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of
accessories or replacement parts.
The warranty is nullified if the product(s) is/are
1. broken down, reconstructed and/or modified by unauthorized parties
2. damaged from wrong operations (i.e. reverse polarity installation, installation of non-
rechargeable batteries), or
3. damaged by batteries leakage.

Instrucciones de operación
Este producto está diseñado específicamente para baterías de cámaras Canon,
compatible con: LP-E6/LP-E6N y LP-E8, el producto puede cargar baterías en ambas
bahías simultáneamente. Este producto NO debe ser utilizado con baterías no
especificadas en este manual.
Ajuste automático de corriente
La corriente real de salida del UCN1 depende de la potencia máxima suministrada desde
el USB. La corriente de salida se ajustará en función de la potencia real introducida en
el dispositivo. El UCN1 es capaz de suministrar 1000mA, aumentando su eficiencia y
reduciendo la duración de la carga.
Monitoreo del estado de la batería
Una vez que la batería ha sido instalada, el UCN1 procederá inicialmente con una
prueba diagnóstico de baja potencia para saber el estado de la batería. Después del
diagnóstico, el estado de la batería se mostrará como Bueno, Normal o Bajo.
Nota: Vuelva a instalar la batería cuando aparezca "Bajo" en la pantalla para evitar
que el contacto de la batería sea impreciso, reemplace la batería si "Bajo" aparece
continuamente.
Protección contra polaridad invertida y corto
circuito
El UCN1 utiliza una protección mecánica contra polaridad inversa. Insertar baterías no
compatibles o instalar las baterías incorrectamente impedirá el inicio del proceso de
carga. El mensaje de error "EE EE" aparecerá en la pantalla LCD cuando una batería
haga corto circuito al instalarse.
Recuperación de baterías
El UCN1 tratará de recuperar las baterías sobre descargadas cuando se inserte una en la
bahía de carga. Una vez que la batería ha sido recuperada con éxito, el indicador entero
del cargador parpadeará para indicar que la batería ha sido recuperada.
Nota: Esta característica solo funciona con baterías protegidas.
Precauciones
1. El UCN1 es compatible únicamente con baterías de cámaras Canon LP-E6/LP-E6N y
LP-E8, NO intente cargar otras baterías.
2. Es normal esperar un calentamiento moderado del producto durante el proceso de
carga.
3. Temperatura de operación: -10° a 40°C, temperatura de almacenamiento: -20° a
60° C.
4. Lea con atención todas las indicaciones en el dispositivo para asegurarse que las
Baterías están correctamente instaladas.
5. Los niños deben ser supervisados por un adulto cuando usen el producto.

9. Guarde el producto en áreas ventiladas, NO utilice el dispositivo en ambientes
húmedos y manténgalo alejado de materiales combustibles.
10. Evite cualquier golpe o impacto al dispositivo.
11. NO coloque ningún objeto conductor o metálico en el dispositivo, esto para evitar
cortos circuitos y explosiones.
12. Desconecte el dispositivo cuando no esté en uso.
13. NO desarme o modifique el dispositivo, hacerlo eliminará la garantía del producto,
consulte la sección garantía de este manual.

Bedienungsanleitung
Dieses Produkt ist speziell für Canon Kamera-Akkus, kompatibel mit den Canon
Akkus LP-E6/LP-E6N und LP-E8. Der UCN1 hat zwei Ladeschächte und kann zwei
Akkus gleichzeitig laden. Der Ausgangsstrom wird automatisch entsprechend dem
Eingangsstrom eingestellt, um ein optimales Ladeergebnis zu erreichen. Das Ladegerät
darf nur mit Akkus verwendet werden, die in dieser Anleitung angegeben sind.
Automatische Ladestromeinstellung
Der tatsächlichen Ausgangsstrom des UCN1 ist abhängig von der maximalen Leistung
der USB-Stromquelle und wird entsprechend der tatsächlichen Leistung der Stromquelle
angepasst. Der UCN1 ist in der Lage mit maximal 1000mA zu laden. Dies erhöht seine
Effizienz und verkürzt die Ladezeit.
Überwachung der verbleibenden Ladezyklen
Sobald der Akku eingelegt ist, beginnt der UCN1 mit einer anfänglichen Niedrigstrom-
Testladung, um den Akkustatus zu diagnostizieren. Nach der Diagnose wird der
Akkustatus als "Gut", "Normal" oder "Schlecht" angezeigt.
Hinweis: Wenn der Akkustatus als "Schlecht" anzeigt, überprüfen Sie zuerst, ob
der Kontakt des Akku zum Ladegerät optimal ist, da es sich sonst ggf. um eine
Falschmeldung handelt. Entnehmen Sie dazu den Akku und legen Sie ihn erneut in
korrekter Weise ein.
Verpolungsschutz und Schutz vor Kurzschlüssen
Der UCN1 hat einen mechanischen Verpolungsschutz, um das Laden von nicht
kompatiblen oder falsch eingesetzten Akkus zu verhindern. Erscheint im Display die
Fehlermeldung "EE" wurde ein kurzgeschlossener Akku eingesetzt.
Reaktivierung tiefentladener Akkus
Der UCN1 wird versuchen, tiefentladene Akkus, die in den Ladeschacht eingesetzt
wurden, zu reaktivieren.
Hinweis: Diese Funktion funktioniert nur mit geschützten Akkus
Warnhinweise

9. Lagern Sie das Gerät in gut belüfteten Räumen. Verwenden Sie den Lader NICHT in
feuchten Umgebungen und halten Sie ihn fern von brennbaren Materialien.
10. Setzen Sie den Lader KEINEN Schlägen oder Erschütterungen aus.
11. Stellen Sie KEINE leitenden oder metallene Gegenstände in den Lader, um einen
Kurzschluss oder Explosionen zu vermeiden.
12. Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromquelle, wenn es nicht in Gebrauch ist.
13. Zerlegen oder modifizieren Sie den Lader NICHT. Anderenfalls erlischt der
Garantieanspruch. Lesen Sie dazu die Details in dieser Anleitung.

Bei einer Fehlfunktion der NITECORE ® UCN1 Lader kann das Gerät über einen
autorisierten Vertriebshändler/ Händler innerhalb von 24 Monaten (2 Jahre) nach Erwerb
- unter Vorlage des Kaufbelegs durch den Endverbraucher - zum Zwecke der Reparatur
zu einem autorisierten Vertriebshändler/Händler geschickt werden. Nach 24 Monaten (2
Jahren) deckt die Garantie die Arbeitskosten, jedoch nicht die Kosten für Zubehör- oder
Ersatzteile.
Der Garantieanspruch erlischt beim Eintritt folgender Umstände:
1. Der Artikel wurde durch konstruktive Veränderungen beschädigt oder modifiziert.
2. Der Artikel wurde durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch beschädigt.
3. Der Artikel wurde durch auslaufende Batterien beschädigt.

Le présent chargeur est destiné aux batteries de caméra Canon de type LP-E6/LP-
E6N et LP-E8. Il peut faire la charge par port 1 ou port 2. Quand une seule batterie
est connectée, la charge est continue ; Quand il y a deux batteries, la charge se fait
simultanément. Il n'est pas conçu pour fonctionner avec d'autres batteries. Le courant
de sortie est réglé automatiquement en fonction du courant d'entrée pour atteindre un
réglage de charge optimal. Ce produit NE doit PAS être utilisé avec d'autres batteries
non spécifiées dans ce manuel
Ajustement automatique
Le courant de sortie réel de l'UCN1 dépend de la puissance maximale fournie par l'USB.
Le courant de sortie est réglé en fonction de la puissance réelle introduite sur l'appareil
Etat de la batterie
Une fois la batterie insérée, l'UCN1 procédera à une charge initiale de test de courant
faible pour diagnostiquer l'état de la batterie. Après le diagnostic, l'état de la batterie
s'affiche comme Bon, Normal ou Mauvais (Good, Normal, Poor)
Note: Re-insérer la batterie lorsque "Pauvre" (Poor) apparaît à l'écran au cas il y aurait
un mauvais contact de la batterie, remplacez la batterie si "Poor" apparaît à l'écran de
façon continue..
Protection contre inversion de polarité et court-
circuit
L'UCN1 utilise la protection contre les inversions de polarité. L'insertion de batteries
incompatibles ou l'installation incorrecte de la batterie empêchera le démarrage du
processus de charge. Le message d'erreur "EE EE" apparaît sur l'écran LCD à l'installation
d'une batterie en court-circuit.
Récupération de la batterie
L'UCN1 tentera de récupérer les batteries déchargées lors de l'insertion dans la fente de
chargement. Après une récupération réussie de la batterie, le témoin de niveau de la
batterie clignote pour indiquer qu'une batterie a été récupérée avec succès.
Note: Cette fonction ne fonctionne qu'avec des batteries avec circuit de protection.
Précautions
1. Le chargeur UCN1 n'est compatible avec les batteries LP-E6/LP-E6N et LP-E8, NE
PAS utiliser avec d'autres batteries.
2. Une montée en température du produit est à prévoir pendant le processus de
charge, c'est normal.
3. La plage de température appropriée pour le chargeur en opération est -10°C-40°C,
et -20°C-60°C lorsqu'il est inactif..
4. Lisez attentivement toutes les étiquettes de l'appareil pour vous assurer que les piles
sont correctement installées.
5. Les enfants en dessous de 18 ans doivent être supervisés par un adulte quand ils
utilisent ce chargeur.
6. Ne laissez jamais le chargeur sans surveillance lorsqu'il est connecté à une
source d'énergie. Si vous constatez un dysfonctionnement, arrêtez la charge
immédiatement et référez-vous au mode d'emploi.
7. Les batteries de courte durée de vie doivent être remplacées dès que possible.
8. NE PAS exposer l'appareil à une température élevée ni l'incinérer, éviter d'utiliser
l'appareil dans des environnements où des changements rapides de température
sont possibles.
9. Utilisez le chargeur dans des espaces bien ventilés, Ne l'utilisez pas et ne le stockez
pas dans un environnement trop humide. N'approchez pas de substances volatiles
inflammables du chargeur.
10. Evitez les vibrations mécaniques et les chocs qui pourraient endommager le
chargeur.
11. Ne court-circuitez pas les différents emplacements. N'insérez pas de fils métalliques
ou autres matériaux conducteurs à l'intérieur du chargeur.
12. Lorsque le chargeur n'est pas utilisé, retirez toutes les batteries et débranchez le
chargeur..
13. Ouvrir, démonter et modifier l'unité peut invalider la garantie. Vérifiez les termes de
la garantie ci-dessous.
Avertissement

de quelque nature que ce soit résultant du non-respect des instructions fournies dans la
présente Manuel utilisateur.
Garantie
Les distributeurs officiels sont responsables du service de garantie. En cas de problème
couvert par la garantie, le client peut contacter son distributeur local pour prétendre au
service de garantie, tant que son produit a été acheté chez un distributeur officiel. La
garantie NITECORE ne s'applique qu'aux produits achetés chez des revendeurs officiels.
Cela s'applique pour tous les produits NITECORE.
Un chargeur UCN1 défectueux peut être échangé par l'intermédiaire d'un distributeur
local dans les 15 jours suivant l'achat. Après 15 jours, tous les produits NITECORE®
défectueux peuvent être envoyés à un distributeur autorisé pour réparation pendant les
12 mois suivant l'achat. Au-delà de 12 mois, une garantie limitée s'applique, couvrant
les coûts de main d'œuvre et maintenance, mais pas le coût des pièces détachées.
La garantie est annulée si le produit est :
1. démonté, reconstruit et/ou modifié dans des conditions non autorisées
2. endommagé suite à un usage inapproprié (tel que inversion de polarité ou charge de
piles non rechargeables)
3. endommagé suite à des fuites de batteries.
